How to use this shortlist
This is a researched shortlist, not a record of visits or an independently measured ranking. Entries include dry saunas, steam baths and spa alternatives; their tags describe the format. Venue order is an editorial selection, not a score based on measured heat. Where we have checked a current operator source, the facts, source and consultation date appear below the listing. Other descriptions come from the local guide and still need a fresh venue check. Confirm opening, access and prices before travelling. Nobody paid for inclusion.
